Fedor to speak to Dana in June regarding Lesnar fight

The saga between Fedor (and his management) has been going for a long time now. And finally it looks like there may be some light at the end of the heavyweight tunnel.

In an interview with Dream Fighters, Fedor speaks about the arrangement in order to set up a fight between him and the UFC’s heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

“Me and my management hope to get a chance to talk to Dana White in person in June to discuss a possible fight between me and Brock,”

The x-factor is Dana who rightly so, does not want Fedor to fight outside of the UFC if he is signed. But in a previous interview, Dana admits that Fedor is one of the best in the world.

“You can just tell when you see this guy — I will tell you, he’s a bad mother[expletive]. You can just tell by looking at him. He’s been considered one of the best in the world for a long time, I’d put him in there against whoever’s the top guy at that time. I’d put him in against whoever the top guy is… There’s a lot of possibilities for Fedor.”

As Fedor said they are looking to talk sometime in June, which could mean a big announcement at UFC 100.
