WEC 48 - Several bouts announced for Sacramento Pay-Per-View event
The WEC have today announced a number of fights for their first ever Pay-Per-View event, WEC 48, on April 24th in Sacramento, California, including Cub Swanson against the newest member of the 145 pound roster, Chan Sung “The Zombie Killer” Jung.
Swanson rebounded from his flash knockout loss to Jose Aldo by defeating John Franchi via submission with just ten seconds remaining. Jung made a name for himself with his all action style in last year’s Sengoku featherweight tournament, losing to the eventual winner.
Also on the card if former 135 pound contender, Takeya Mizugaki who will be trying to bounce back from his unanimous decision loss to Scott Jorgensen when he takes on dangerous grappling wizard, Rani Yahya who lost himself via TKO last time out.
Two other bouts confirmed will be between UK fighter, Brad Pickett and submission ace, Kyle Dietz, as well as a featherweight contest between Brandon Visher and Tyler Toner.By Michael Pepper. (Follow me on Twitter)
