UFC Primetime: St. Pierre vs. Hardy part one draws 1 million viewers

Wednesday night’s premiere episode of UFC Primetime: St. Pierre vs. Hardy became the highest-rated show of it’s kind in UFC history, even outstripping all previous Countdown shows, drawing in excess of one million viewers on SPIKE TV.

The previous premiere UFC Primetime episode featuring St. Pierre and lightweight champion, B.J. Penn had held the record with 880,000 viewers, a number smashed by this week’s show.

The show concentrated on the preparations of welterweight champion, Georges St. Pierre in both Canada and the United States, as well as following challenger, Dan Hardy for his final weeks in the UK.

The final two episodes are set to air on March 17th and 24th respectively.
