UFC teams up with Japanese network to air UFC Fight Night 21 for free
The UFC have today held a press conference in Japan to announce the promotion will be airing this months UFC Fight Night 21 event on TV Tokyo, one of the countries smallest free-to-air broadcast networks.
The fight card, set to go down on March 31st in Charlotte, North Carolina will feature former PRIDE lightweight champion, Takanori Gomi in the main event against Kenny Florian, while prominent Japanese fighter, Yushin Okami and Caol Uno will also be in action.
UFC events currently air on Pay-Per-View station, WOWOW in Japan, although it appears the promotion didn’t want to see this opportunity slip through their fingers. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this as we get it.
