UFC 111 - St. Pierre plans to use UFC Primetime trash talk as motivation
UFC welterweight champion, Georges St. Pierre has revealed that he will be keeping a close on the three part UFC Primetime series over the next few weeks in the build up to his championship clash with Brit, Dan Hardy, saying he plans to use the trash talking of “The Outlaw” as his own motivation.
Speaking via The Canadian Press, St. Pierre said:
“No matter what he said and no matter what I say, I'm going to go there and hit as hard as I can on his head, and he's going to do the same thing. I'm going to be able to watch it and see what he said about me -- I'm sure there's going to be a lot of interesting stuff. It pumps me up.”
“He hits very hard . . . he's someone who can end a fight with one shot. I fight for myself, for a legacy.”
The event already sold out ahead of the first Primetime episode being aired on SPIKE TV last night in the United States. The question everyone will be asking on the night will be, can Hardy do the seemingly impossible?
