UFC 111 reaches fever pitch as event in New Jersey completely sells out

The UFC’s March 27th show in Newark, New Jersey, headlined by the welterweight title clash between champion, Georges St. Pierre and brash Brit, Dan Hardy, has completely sold out according to President, Dana White.

Dana revealed the news via his Twitter page and later added:

“I love every time we go to the East Coast. The fans always come out and show their support. We’re coming there with a stacked card and two championship fights. This time New Jersey - New York is next.”

The card is one of the most stacked in years and even includes a second title fight between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin for the interim heavyweight strap. In addition former welterweight contender’s Thiago Alves and Jon Fitch will battle it out for a second time.
