Paulo Thiago confirms fight with Kampmann at UFC 115 on June 12th

Brazilian UFC welterweight, Paulo Thiago has confirmed that he will square off with dangerous all-rounder, Martin Kampmann at UFC 115 on June 12th in Vancouver, Canada.

Speaking via Tatame Magazine, Thiago said:

“He’s a tough guy, winning this fight I’ll walk one more step in my career. He did a great fight (against Jacob Volkmann), he’s a well ranked guy… That’s a good fight for me”.

Thiago has been on an impressive run since entering the octagon, defeating both Josh Koscheck and Mike Swick inside a year. As for Kampmann, he rebounded from a September loss to Paul Daley to defeat Jacob Volkmann in the very first round.

UFC 115 could be under threat if the sport isn’t regulated in time by city officials. Should the event move the most likely venue would be the home of the UFC, Las Vegas, Nevada.
