James Toney says Couture will be in a “lose-lose” situation against him

Recently signed to the Las Vegas based promotion, James “Light’s Out” Toney has been speaking about a proposed fight against UFC “Hall of Famer”, Randy Couture, saying the five time champion would be in a lose-lose situation against him.

Speaking via FiveOuncesOfPain.com, Toney said:

“If a guy gets in there and try to take me to the ground, he might see his head go into orbit. The head is going into orbit, for real. These guys in MMA, they good wrestlers and good grapplers and good kickers, like girls, but, you know, when it comes to throwing them blows, they ain’t got a chance in hell.”

“If you hate me, come see me try to get beat, if you love me, you enjoy the ride, have a good time and eat your popcorn. If he tries to throw blow for blow with me, he definitely gonna get knocked out. That’s a given, you know what I’m saying? If he tries to take me to the ground, it ain’t going to be easy, you know what I’m saying? He’s still gonna get knocked out. Either way, it’s a lose-lose situation for him.”

MMABay have been told that Couture will serve as the welcoming committee for Toney when he enters the octagon for the first time, with the fight expected to happen in June or July. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this one as we get it.
