Brett Rogers looks to take out Fedor and then Overeem to win two titles

Undefeated Strikeforce heavyweight, Brett “The Grim” Rogers has explained that he’s ready to make his mark on the MMA world by capturing two titles in quick succession, first the WAMMA heavyweight title from Fedor Emelianenko and then the Strikeforce heavyweight title from Alistair Overeem.

Speaking to FiveOuncesOfPain.com, Rogers said:

“Alistair’s kind of holding on to the title. I don’t know what he’s doing, or what little plan he has hidden up his sleeve, but he’s gonna have to give that up, sooner than later, because I’m coming for it.”

“I feel like I should already have the title for when I fought Arlovski. That title should have been mine, but Alistair keeps procrastinating and making up little excuses about his hand and all this. I mean, he has I don’t know how many other wins, but he’s making excuses. We’re going to get our day.”

“I’m about to get two titles in a sense [laughs]. I’m going to take out Fedor, and I’m going to take out Overeem whenever I get to him.”

Roger will challenge Fedor for the WAMMA heavyweight title on November 7th in Chicago, Illinois and will be the first time the Russian will have competed inside a cage during his career. Can “The Grim” derail the master or will Fedor just add another victim to his already impressive list.
