Rich Franklin still expected to headline UFC 103 card in September

Former UFC middleweight champion, Rich “Ace” Franklin is still in line to headline the UFC’s September visit to Dallas, Texas on September 19th.

According to a report by InsideFights.com Franklin has been offered three top light heavyweights to choose from after being less than keen to climb back into action so soon after defeating Wanderlei Silva in June.

Franklin was originally thought to be lined up to take on former UFC light heavyweight champion, Chuck Liddell in Dallas but “The Iceman” decided to sit out until next year when a decision will be made about a possible final fight.
