EXCLUSIVE: Quinton Jackson and Rashad Evans to coach on TUF 10

Former UFC light heavyweight champions, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans will coach the tenth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series MMABay can EXCLUSIVELY reveal.

Jackson was expected to square off against undefeated Brazilian, Lyoto Machida for the 205 pound title but my source, who is close to the newly crowned champion, has told me that “Rampage” will instead face bitter rival, Rashad Evans and settle the war of words between the two that began in March at UFC 96.

The show begins filming on Monday, June 1st and will last for six weeks. It is also common knowledge that Jackson is involved in another movie project this year, expected to take a further four weeks. He will then go into training, back at the Wolfslair MMA Academy in the UK for the fight against Evans, set for December. This of course scuppers any rumours circulating about a fight between Machida and Jackson in September.

Jackson confirmed his side of the news yesterday via Twitter, saying:

“Packing my stuff to move to Vegas to coach TUF!!”

Fans of the show can expect sparks to fly between the two as the season progresses, culminating in the most heated rivalry ever seen on the reality show. Could this be the big announcement that is set for tonight when UFC President, Dana White makes an appearance at the Video Game Awards later this evening? I guess we will have to wait and see.
