Hi Paul,

Thank you for taking the time to sit down with MMABay and answer a few of our questions:

MMABay - For the fans blinkered to the UFC and who are not yet aware of "Semtex", can you tell us a little about yourself as a fighter? 

Daley - I'm a fighter from the UK that has fought all around the world, taken on the best fighters outside the UFC, provided entertaining fights and explosive KO finishes.

MMABay - If you had to pick one fight that sums you up as a fighter that the fans can go out and find, what would it be? 

Daley - That’s a hard one, because I change most fights none of them are the same.  The outcome might be the same for my victims, but the fight itself varies.  Just check out my highlight reel at www.semtex.tv

MMABay - You were going to fight on the Affliction card this month. How difficult as a fighter was it to have the promotion you were fighting on collapse around you? 

Daley - It was ok, because I had faith that I would find a replacement fight/organisation.  I knew I’d fight again soon because I like to fight and would have fought anywhere, against anyone!

MMABay - What was your take on Affliction’s fight promotion shutting down? 

Daley - It's hard to run a business in a market dominated by such a powerful brand as the UFC.

MMABay - How soon after Affliction's collapsed did you hear the UFC were interested?  

Daley - Can’t remember exactly, but I think like a couple of days.

MMABay - Was it a surprise that the UFC included you on the Dallas , Texas show and not the show in Manchester ? 

Daley - A little, but I think they are aware I want to fight a lot and I was already in fight shape for the Affliction so...  If I can I want to fight in Manchester as well!!

MMABay - Are you glad you haven’t immediately fallen into the trap of being a UK fighter and fighting exclusively on European shows? 

Daley - Yes very!  I want to perform to a bigger audience and build on my US fanbase that already support me, but to fight in the UK on a UFC show is something I want to do for my friends and family.  It would also make sense for me to fight on the speculated Nottingham UFC card next year.

MMABay - What is your take on your opponent at UFC 103, Brian Foster? 

Daley - Tough, tough guy.  Good all-rounder that hits very hard!

MMABay - If you get past Foster, is there anyone else you have your eye on to establish yourself in the UFC? 

Daley - I'll fight WHOEVER they put in front of me!!
