Hi Cole,

Thank you for taking the time to sit down with MMABay and answer a few of our questions:

MMABay - Hi Cole congratulation on your latest victory against Junie Browning, how satisfying was that?

Cole - Very satisfying. It was nice to go in there for the second fight in a row and do exactly what I said I was going to.

MMABay - Did it motivate you massively hearing all the things he was saying pre-fight?

Cole - Most definitely. The guy has probably been a bully his whole life, just a disrespectful punk. Hearing those things definitely got me worked up.

MMABay - You train at ATT which is a great camp to be in do you feel like you are learning all the time?

Cole - For sure. You never stop learning there. I think it’s due to the great instructors we have.

MMABay - You are set to face off against Ultimate Fighter season 8 winner Efrain Escudero at UFC 103 how do you see this fight going?

Cole - Well if this fight gets signed, then I see it ending with my hand raised of course.

MMABay - Do you think your experience in the UFC will help you in this one, especially as this will be Efrain’s first outing on a Pay-Per-View?

Cole - Yes but not just my experience in the UFC, I think my overall experience will play a factor. This is my 31st MMA fight coming up and my 6th UFC appearance.

MMABay - Have the UFC revealed when and where UFC 103 will take place?

Cole - I heard a rumour it will be in the UK from some MMA internet site but I don’t pay much attention to these things.

MMABay - On the subject of the Ultimate Fighter, you were on season 5. Have you watched any of the new series UK V US?

Cole - Not really. I don’t pay much attention to these things. Since I have 5 UFC fights already and I’m coming up on my 6th it doesn’t do me any good to pay attention to these guys. By the time I fight them they’ll have several UFC fights and ill pay attention to those fights as opposed to the ones they had on the show.

MMABay - With so many fighters coming off The Ultimate Fighter and becoming title contenders and belt holders, do you think the Ultimate Fighter has become such a huge bonus for the UFC?

Cole - For sure. The ultimate fighter is a great platform to catapult a fighter into stardom as well as to mould someone into a better fighter. It’s a great opportunity.

MMABay - You are 4-1 in the UFC. If successful against Efrain Escudero who do you want to fight in the top contenders within the division?

Cole - Who I want to fight is constantly changing depending on who is coming off of a big win, so who I want now may be different after the fight. We shall see.

MMABay - Who do you think will win the BJ Penn Kenny Florian fight at UFC 101?

Cole – B.J., the guy is a freak.
