Bellator announce plans for May 17th Pay-Per-View headlined by Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler III

March 1, 2014 All MMA News, UFC  Comments

It was last night announced that emerging mixed martial arts promotion, Bellator MMA will be looking to hold their first ever Pay-Per-View event on May 17th headlined by the lightweight title trilogy fight between current title holder, Eddie Alvarez and former champion, Michael Chandler.

bellatorBellator originally planned a PPV for November 2nd last year to be headlined by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Tito Ortiz and featuring Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler II. However, when Ortiz went down to injury, that event was moved to Spike TV. Now, Bellator makes attempt number two, this time to settle the score in the promotions greatest rivalry.

On top of that, last night at Bellator 110 both Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal made it to the light heavyweight tournament finals, making their involvement as the co-main event of the evening almost a certainty. Stay tuned to MMABay for more news on this situation as we get it.

Buying Supplements for MMA Training and Hardcore Workouts
Many people ask what type of supplements they should use for MMA training and hardcore workouts. With each person and training program the supplements will vary.  Anyone exerting enormous amounts of energy with their training needs to have a proper diet, lots of rest and quality supplementation. Some of the supplement staples for MMA and hardcore workouts will include Creatine, Whey Protein, BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids), L Carnitine, Beta Alanine and Glutamine.  You may also need extra pre-workout energy and strength with Ephedrine/Ephedra and Prohormones.  As well you will need to replenish nutrients with Multivitamins, Super Greens, Fish Oil and Joint Support Supplements. Make sure to research what the requirements are for your specific training program, and do as much research as possible on each supplement you are taking. Buy supplements at a trusted source - one company we recommend for quality products and service is CenturySupplements.com.  They have quick delivery to the UK and a wide selection. They have been around for along time and have had great reviews from our customers.
