Rory MacDonald and B.J. Penn reignite their war of words on Twitter
UFC welterweight contender, Rory MacDonald and former two-division champion, B.J. Penn have this week reignited their war of words on Twitter, with the Canadian questioning his UFC on FOX 5 opponents conditioning yet again.
MacDonald started things off by tweeting the following message and picture (right).
200lbs and @bjpenndotcom thinks i care if hes in shape for the fight or not #newgenerationmindset.
Penn immediately returned fire by spotlighting MacDonald’s bacne. Here’s how the rest of their conversation went down:
Penn: Great!!! I frekin love knocking out 200 pounders
MacDonald: Do u [mean] knockin back quarter pounders? Who r u kidding, certainly not yourself ?
Penn: Quarter pounders?? Really pimple boy? I won’t even RNC you… afraid of all the pimples on your back. #GROSS
MacDonald: I didnt think it was possible but somehow u made yourself even less of a threat.
MacDonald has gone from strength to strength since making his debut inside the octagon and is on a three-fight winning streak after defeating Nate Diaz, Mike Pyle and Che Mills in impressive fashion. His sole loss came against Carlos Condit at UFC 115, losing via TKO with just seconds left after dominating the first two rounds.
