UFC on FOX 4 – Phil Davis pokes Wagner Prado in the eye, fight ends a no-contest

The light heavyweight clash between former contender, Phil Davis and Brazilian newcomer, Wagner Prado ended in a farce tonight during the UFC on FOX 4 preliminary card after the referee waved the bout off due to an eye-poke.

Prado comes out stalking Davis. Nice left hook from Prado lands, and another. Prado is poked in the eye by Davis and we’ll have a brief stoppage. The referee waves the fight off incredibly after consulting the doctor. Prado is very upset.
