UFC 153 – Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Gerônimo “Mondragon” dos Santos agreed for October 13th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

August 1, 2012 All MMA News, UFC  Comments

A heavyweight clash between former title contender, Gabriel Gonzaga and promotional newcomer, Gerônimo “Mondragon” dos Santos has been agreed for the UFC 153 card set for October 13th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Sources close to the situation revealed the news to Tatame Magazine earlier today. It is thought verbal agreements are in place on both sides.

Gonzaga did retire from the sport after losing back-to-back fights inside the octagon although he has since put his gloves back on and is currently riding a two fight winning streak including an impressive return to the octagon.

Dos Santos is a veteran of the sport with a 34-14 record and is currently riding an impressive twelve fight winning streak. He has fought primarily in Brazil over the course of his career, although he did face and lose to Josh Barnett back in 2010.

Many people ask what type of supplements they should use for MMA training and hardcore workouts. With each person and training program the supplements will vary.  Anyone exerting enormous amounts of energy with their training needs to have a proper diet, lots of rest and quality supplementation. Some of the supplement staples for MMA and hardcore workouts will include Creatine, Whey Protein, BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids), L Carnitine, Beta Alanine and Glutamine.  You may also need extra pre-workout energy and strength with Ephedrine/Ephedra and Prohormones.  As well you will need to replenish nutrients with Multivitamins, Super Greens, Fish Oil and Joint Support Supplements.
