Anderson Silva’s manager open to future fight with Nick Diaz
Ed Soares, one of the managers currently looking after the interests of UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, has today revealed he’s open to the possibility of seeing “The Spider” square off with former Strikeforce champion, Nick Diaz following the suggestion just twenty-four-hours ago.
Posting via his Twitter page, Soares said:
“I think the idea of @SpiderAnderson vs @nickdiaz209 is pretty good. Let’s see what the @ufc thinks?”
With Diaz being a former Strikeforce middleweight champion it isn’t inconceivable to see the man from Stockton square off with Silva down the road but he’ll likely have to get in line and compete against the likes of Chris Weidman, Tim Boetsch and Michael Bisping who are all chomping at the bit. Stay tuned to MMABay for more news on this situation as we get it.
