UFC 152 – Michael Bisping on fight with Brian Stann: “I’m going to beat the crap out of him”
Just when you thought you’d escaped a couple of days without UFC middleweight contender, Michael Bisping shooting his mouth off the Brit sprints out of the block with his latest verbal tirade against his UFC 152 opponent, Brian Stann, vowing to “beat the crap” out of the American on September 22nd.
Speaking during the UFC 152 press conference, Bisping said:
“Listen, I want to fight for the title and I want to fight Anderson Silva, but, you can’t look past Brian Stann. He is an incredible fighter. So for me, right now, I’m not even thinking about the title. I am fighting Brian Stann, I have my hands full with that. Regarding the fight, this is me vs. Brian Stann, this isn’t England vs. America. This is an individual sport. There are no tanks, missiles or guns involved in this. This is mano-a-mano, individual versus individual and September 22, I am individually going to beat the crap out of him.”
Bisping was due to face Tim Boetsch at UFC 149 before injury ruled him out of the card. He was last seen losing via unanimous decision to Chael Sonnen on the UFC on FOX 2 card but prior to that he’d won four fights on the bounce inside the octagon. Stay tuned to MMABay for more build-up to this one as we get it.
