RUMOUR: UFC 153 – Alan Belcher hints at fight with Vitor Belfort on October 13th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

July 24, 2012 All MMA News, UFC  Comments

Now it’s only a rumour and we might be putting two and two together and making one hundred and one but it seems likely that middleweight contenders, Alan Belcher and Vitor Belfort will square off on the UFC 153 card set for October 13th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Posting via his Twitter page, Belcher said:

“My next fight will be the biggest of my career. I may be taking a trip down south, very south.”

Now like we said it’s only a rumour but the pieces do seem to fit. Not only do we have Belcher’s insinuation that he’ll be competing in Brazil in a big fight but both men are looking for top level opposition to square off with in order to secure that all important shot at the title. No doubt the UFC are looking to book Belfort into a fight in Brazil after the South American fans missed out on seeing “The Phenom” compete at UFC 147 after he fell foul to injury. Stay tuned to MMABay for more news on this situation as we get it.

Many people ask what type of supplements they should use for MMA training and hardcore workouts. With each person and training program the supplements will vary.  Anyone exerting enormous amounts of energy with their training needs to have a proper diet, lots of rest and quality supplementation. Some of the supplement staples for MMA and hardcore workouts will include Creatine, Whey Protein, BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids), L Carnitine, Beta Alanine and Glutamine.  You may also need extra pre-workout energy and strength with Ephedrine/Ephedra and Prohormones.  As well you will need to replenish nutrients with Multivitamins, Super Greens, Fish Oil and Joint Support Supplements.
