Hold on a second…! Dana White denies Tim Sylvia has signed with Strikeforce
UFC President, Dana White has poured cold water on the news that former UFC heavyweight champion, Tim Sylvia has signed with Zuffa owned promotion, Strikeforce and will take on Daniel Cormier on their September 29th show, basically saying it’s not happening.
When asked by MMA.tv about the situation, Dana said:
“Long story but yes, Tim is not with Zuffa.”
Sylvia has won seven of his last eight professional bouts and has made an appeal to the fans for his return to the big-time. A twelve second TKO win over Randy Smith was thought to have caught the eye of the California based promotions bosses… but maybe not.
