Forrest Griffin becomes the latest fighter to receive a TRT exemption

It has tonight been revealed that former UFC light heavyweight champion, Forrest Griffin received a testosterone replacement therapy exemption for his UFC 148 fight with Tito Ortiz this past weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The news came via Pro MMA Radio host, Larry Pepe who spoke to a source close to the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Although it’s within the rules, Griffin was already under scrutiny for his post-fight antics that saw him march out of the octagon before the result was read out before ripping the microphone from UFC colour commentator, Joe Rogan’s hand to conduct his own interview with Tito Ortiz.
