Chan Sung Jung vows to end the title reign of Jose Aldo
UFC featherweight contender, Chan Sung Jung (aka “The Korean Zombie”) has today revealed who he wants to face inside the octagon the next time he steps into the eight sided structure, calling out none other than 145 pound champion, Jose Aldo and vowing to end his title reign in the process.
Posting via his Twitter page, Jung said:
“I want Jose Aldo. I will end his reign as a champion.”
Jung has a couple of obstacles in his way in terms of making this one happen. First up Aldo was due to face Erik Kock at UFC 149 in July but injury to the Brazilian forced the promotion to delay it to possibly as late as UFC 153 in Brazil. Second, no fighter has main evented a UFC on FUEL TV event and secured a title shot from the win, something not insurmountable but it would set a precedent all the same.
