UFC on FX 4 – Spencer Fisher reveals he’ll probably retire after this Friday night
UFC lightweight veteran, Spencer Fisher has today revealed that he’ll probably hang up his gloves for good following this Friday’s UFC on FX 4 showdown with Sam Stout in Atlantic City, New Jersey, explaining he’s been missing a number of important moments with his family.
Speaking via MMAFighting.com, Fisher said:
“I’ve been missing a lot of stuff with my family. It gets tougher and tougher as they get older. No pressure. I want to go out there and fight. Swing for the fences. I don’t have to find him. He’ll be right there in the middle.”
Fisher has had a miserable run of results of late, winning just one of his last five fights inside the octagon. Losses to Joe Stevenson, Dennis SIver, Ross Pearson and Thiago Tavares have put him on the verge of picking up his pink slip. Stay tuned to MMABay for more build-up to this one as we get it.
