UFC 147: Silva vs. Franklin II main card now complete following the culmination of TUF: Brazil
The UFC 147 card set to go down this Saturday night in Belo Horizonte, Brazil is now complete following the culmination of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” reality show, with four fighters now set to fight it out for the middleweight and featherweight crowns.
Cesar ‘Mutante’ Ferreira will face Sergio ‘Serginho’ Moraes in the final of the 185 pound category, following a fantastic head kick knockout in the semis. Moraes has been called upon after initial finalist, Daniel Sarafian, was ruled out by injury, an unusual occurrence.
The other final will see Godofredo ‘Pepey’ de Oliveira and Rony ‘Jason’ Mariano Bezerra go toe-to-toe in the 145 pound division. Pepey de Oliveira represents Team Belfort while Bezerra was the top pick of Team Silva making for a very interesting culmination of this bracket.
The entire main card is as follows:
Rich Frankin vs. Wanderlei Silva
Mike Russow vs. Fabricio Werdum
Cezar ‘Mutante’ Ferreira vs. Sergio ‘Serginho’ Moraes (Middleweight final)
Rony ‘Jason’ Mariano Bezerra vs. Godofredo ‘Pepey’ de Oliveira (Featherweight final)
Yuri Alcantara vs. Hacran Dias
