UFC on FX 3 – Matt Grice medically suspended for an indefinite period by the state regulators
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation have today released the full list of medical suspensions picked up by those fighters competing on the UFC on FX 3 card this past Friday night in Sunrise, Florida, with featherweight grappler, Matt Grice picking up an indefinite medical suspension.
The main event duo of Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall were surprisingly missing from the list despite a back-and-forth war and the earlier omission by “Mighty Mouse” that he was pretty banged up and didn’t expect to return to the octagon for six months.
The list in full is as follows:
Josh Neer is suspended for 60 days.
Eddie Wineland is suspended for 60 days due to a forehead laceration.
Scott Jorgensen is suspended for 60 days due to a concussion.
Lance Benoist is suspended for 45 days due to a laceration on his right eyebrow and another under his left eye.
Matt Grice is suspended indefinitely unless cleared by an orthopedic doctor due to a possible left foot fracture.
Justin Salas is suspended for 30 days due to a chin laceration.
Sean Pierson is suspended for 45 days due to a scalp laceration.
