Dana White reveals an event in China before the year is out is already a done deal
UFC President, Dana White has reignited talk of the Las Vegas based promotion heading to China before the year is out, explaining not only an event is going to happen but a regionalised version of “The Ultimate Fighter” is also in the books.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com, Dana revealed:
“We are going to China this year, that’s already happening. We’re doing an Ultimate Fighter there too; that’s all gonna happen.”
White said a few months ago the event would be held in conjunction with The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel, a 40-story property that opened in 2007 with a $2.4 billion price tag. The property, which is modelled after The Venetian in Las Vegas, features the planet’s largest casino and is one of the region’s most popular tourism spots. The resort also is home to Cotai Arena, a 15,000-seat indoor arena that’s hosted past boxing events.
