Josh Koscheck reveals the UFC just offered him a fight with B.J. Penn
Former UFC welterweight title contender, Josh Koscheck has today revealed that the Las Vegas based promotion has offered him a fight with former two division champion, B.J. Penn and that the final decision on the fight rests with the legendary Hawaiian.
Posting via his Twitter page, Koscheck said:
“UFC just offered me to fight BJ Penn…I said YES!!!!! Just waiting on him!!!!!! Let’s scrap bra?”
Koscheck has had a tough time inside the octagon of late, going 2-2 in his last four fights. Losses to Georges St. Pierre and Johny Hendricks have left many wondering whether “Kos” still has what it takes to cut it at the highest level of the game.
The same could really be said for Penn who has won just one of his last five bouts inside the octagon. His victory over Matt Hughes is his only one since December 2009, with losses coming at the hands of Frankie Edgar (twice) and Nick Diaz.
