B.J. Penn tells Josh Koscheck he’s not coming back to action anytime soon
Former two-division UFC champion, B.J. Penn has tonight revealed he won’t be coming out of semi-retirement to take on top welterweight contender, Josh Koscheck anytime soon, despite the Las Vegas based promotion attempting to match the pair of them up.
Posting via his Twitter, Penn said:
“@joshkoscheck I know it costs a lot of money to live that lavish lifestyle, big house, fast cars & you need big fights but sorry I’m not coming back anytime soon!”
Penn has won just one of his last five bouts inside the octagon. His victory over Matt Hughes is his only one since December 2009, with losses coming at the hands of Frankie Edgar (twice) and Nick Diaz. Stay tuned to MMABay for more news on this situation as we get it.
