UFC on FOX 3 – Johny Hendricks can’t wait to punch Josh Koscheck in the face

May 2, 2012 All MMA News, UFC  Comments

UFC welterweight contender, Johny Hendricks has been giving his thoughts on his upcoming UFC on FOX 3 showdown with Josh Koscheck this weekend in East Rutherford, New Jersey, explaining he’s really excited for this one and can’t wait to punch his cocky opponent in the face.

Speaking via MMAMania.com, Hendricks said:

“Man, I just can’t wait. I thought I was excited for Jon Fitch, but actually, it’s this fight that I’m really excited for. I knew that if I didn’t get that title shot and that if Carlos Condit wanted to wait, I knew I had to have somebody. So, Josh Koscheck’s right there. If I beat him, I might get ‘Fighter of the Year.’ That’s what I’m looking for now. If I don’t get that title shot, let’s move towards something else. I’m gonna put my hands on him, take him down…whatever. You know what I mean? I don’t care where the fight goes. I believe I’m better than him, everywhere the fight goes. Actually, I just can’t wait to hit him and put this left hand on him and see what happens.”

Hendricks is currently riding a three-fight winning streak and is considered by many to be a dark-horse in the welterweight title picture. Wins over the likes of TJ Waldburger, Mike Pierce and Jon Fitch have put the former WEC fighter in a handy position heading into the second quarter of 2012. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this situation as we get it.

Buying Supplements for MMA Training and Hardcore Workouts
Many people ask what type of supplements they should use for MMA training and hardcore workouts. With each person and training program the supplements will vary.  Anyone exerting enormous amounts of energy with their training needs to have a proper diet, lots of rest and quality supplementation. Some of the supplement staples for MMA and hardcore workouts will include Creatine, Whey Protein, BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids), L Carnitine, Beta Alanine and Glutamine.  You may also need extra pre-workout energy and strength with Ephedrine/Ephedra and Prohormones.  As well you will need to replenish nutrients with Multivitamins, Super Greens, Fish Oil and Joint Support Supplements. Make sure to research what the requirements are for your specific training program, and do as much research as possible on each supplement you are taking.
