Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and Evalgelista “Cyborg” Santos in divorce shocker
It has today been revealed that Strikeforce duo, Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and Evalgelista “Cyborg” Santos are set to divorce after six years of marriage, although it’s unknown at this time what led to the split of these two iconic Brazilians.
Posting via UOL Esporte, Cristiane said:
“After six years of dedication to the love and happiness of marriage, I would like to inform you that since the month of December 2011 Evangelista Cyborg and I are living our lives separately. I would like to thank all friends for their words of love and support during this period. As it may seem hard to never abandon their dreams or discredits in love!”
The female version of the duo (steady!) has been going through a bit of a tough time of late after failing a post-fight drugs test and having a one-year suspension imposed on her by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. On top of that she was stripped of her 135 pound title by none other than UFC President, Dana White.
