Vitor Belfort on Wanderlei Silva: “Tell him to change strategies or it’s going to be another knockout”

January 18, 2012 All MMA News, UFC  Comments

UFC middleweight contender, Vitor Belfort has been offering some advice to the next man he’ll face inside the octagon and fellow “Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” coach, Wanderlei Silva… change your game plan for the rematch.

Speaking via Obogo.com, Belfort said:

“If he does that (trade with me) I’ll break him again. He no longer has the chin to trade with me. Tell him to change strategies or it’s going to be another knockout.”

Belfort is on a two-fight winning streak inside the octagon after knocking out Yoshihiro Akiyama last year before submitting Anthony “Rumble” Johnson this past weekend at UFC 142. His first fight with Silva ended early and violently with a flurry of punches in the very first round. Stay tuned to MMABay for more build-up to this one as we get it.

Many people ask what type of supplements they should use for MMA training and hardcore workouts. With each person and training program the supplements will vary.  Anyone exerting enormous amounts of energy with their training needs to have a proper diet, lots of rest and quality supplementation. Some of the supplement staples for MMA and hardcore workouts will include Creatine, Whey Protein, BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids), L Carnitine, Beta Alanine and Glutamine.  You may also need extra pre-workout energy and strength with Ephedrine/Ephedra and Prohormones.  As well you will need to replenish nutrients with Multivitamins, Super Greens, Fish Oil and Joint Support Supplements.
