Dan Hardy calls for fight with Chris Lytle, determined to either win in a blaze of glory or go out on his shield
Former UFC welterweight contender, Dan Hardy has today called for a fight with veteran, Chris Lytle after feeling he was robbed this past weekend at UFC Fight Night 24, explaining he wants the kind of fight where he’ll either win in a blaze of glory or go out on his shield.
Posting via his Twitter, Hardy said:
“I hate having boring fights though. A bad fight is only a grey cloud, over a good weekend. There is only one direction. Forward. I want to fight again. I feel like I’ve been robbed of the reward at the end of training camp.”
“[I want] an old-school shootout with a guy that wants to throw down. Screw the rankings, records are for Djs. Win in a blaze of glory or go out on my shield. Someone like Mr Lytle…”
The Las Vegas based promotion may wait to make this fight until the final quarter of the year when they intend to drop anchor once again in the UK. A fight with Lytle would be a dangerous one for “The Outlaw” but as ever he’ll be chomping at the bit to prove a point inside the octagon.
