UFC 126 – Jake Ellenberger set to face Carlos Eduardo Rocha on February 5th in Las Vegas, Nevada
It appears Jake Ellenberger has a new opponent in the form of Brazilian 170 pound prospect, Carlos Eduardo Rocha for UFC 126 on February 5th in Las Vegas, Nevada after Jon Fitch was bumped to the main event of the promotions next trip Down Under.
Sources close to the event today told MMAJunkie.com that verbal agreements are in place with contracts on the way to both parties.
Ellenberger is on a two-fight winning streak after defeating experienced veteran, Mike Pyle and heavy hitting stand-up specialist, John Howard. With sledgehammers for hands, the powerhouse wrestler stands a real chance of progressing in 2011.
In Rocha he faces someone who has his pecker up following his impressive first round submission win over “The Ultimate Fighter 11” runner-up Kris McCray via kneebar at UFC 122 earlier this month.
