UFC 120 – Carlos Condit produces stunning knockout to defeat Dan Hardy in his own backyard

Former WEC welterweight champion, Carlos Condit put on the performance of his career tonight at UFC 120 in London, England, knocking out British stand-out, Dan Hardy in the very first round to silence the crowd.

Both men come out fast, looking to trade, but is Condit who lands a series of leg kicks. Another from Condit, answered this time by Hardy. Hardy begins to stalk and lands a series of hard kicks followed by a left hook. Condit lands with another leg kick before scoring with some nice punches. Hardy with a stiff leg kick is soon answered by Condit. Condit with another leg kick followed by a Superman punch. Condit with a spinning back-elbow lands but is soon answered by a hook from Hardy. The pair continue to exchange kicks before Condit gets through with a number of punches. Condit catches a kick and and chops at the leg of the Brit. Hardy begins to pours it on, scoring with some nice punches followed by a kick. Hardy covers up as Condit comes forward. Hardy walks in to a series of punches as the pair exchange including a big left hook which drops the Brit to the canvas. Condit follows up and the referee has to step in to stop the fight.
