UFC 124 – Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck likely for Las Vegas says Dana White
UFC President, Dana White has revealed that the welterweight title clash between “Ultimate Fighter” season twelve coaches, Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck will likely go down in the promotions home town of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Speaking via the Las Vegas Sun, Dana said:
“It’s really looking like that fight will be in Vegas.”
“If I could do it Toronto, believe me, I’d do it there in a heartbeat. We’re still talking about doing a fight in Pittsburgh, but if you’re going to a fight, do you want to go do Pittsburgh or do you want to go to Vegas? If we’re going to do a big, major title fight like that, we’ve got to do it in Las Vegas.”
The pair first squared off at UFC 74 in August 2007 with St. Pierre emerging victorious via unanimous decision. This sparked the beginning of the Canadian’s wrestling style, something he’s continued, much to the frustration of a certain section of fans, ever since.
