Marcus Davis reveals heated feud with Dan Hardy is over after the pair shake hands
UFC welterweight, Marcus Davis has revealed he’s put behind him the war of words with UK stand-out, Dan Hardy, explaining the pair met up and shook hands over the whole affair, bringing it to an end.
Speaking via Buddha Sport, Davis said:
“It’s not even the whole grudge thing, I’m past that. Him and I squashed it. I’ve talked to him and shook his hand. He feels he didn’t perform his best, I feel I didn’t either, but I also feel I won that fight.”
“It affected me in some ways, it bothered me and got my mind of things I should have been concentrating on. It did get to me, but around January or February I was able to realize that ‘hey man, its over, it happened’ and I had to let it go. As long as I keep winning fights and stay healthy, that fight will come back around.”
Davis is back in action at the end of this month when he takes on Stockton native and “Ultimate Fighter” season five winner, Nate Diaz at UFC 118 in his home town of Boston. Stay tuned to MMABay for more build-up to this one as we get it.
