Urijah Faber’s future fight with Takeya Mizugaki still undecided after injury postpones fight

July 26, 2010 All MMA News  Comments

The potential fight between former WEC featherweight champion, Urijah Faber and former bantamweight number one contender, Takeya Mizugaki is still undecided despite recent reports it could go down at WEC 51 on September 30th.

Sources close to the situation revealed to MMAJunkie.com that nothing has been decided as far as a return date or opponent is concerned. Earlier in the day a report on MMARising.com revealed the fight between the two could happen as late as WEC 52 or 53, tentatively lined up for November.

Faber held the 145 pound title for over two years before a meeting with Matt Brown cut his reign short. A loss in the rematch and a defeat to current champion, Jose Aldo has forced “The California Kid” to drop to bantamweight for the very first time.
