TUF 11 Finale – James McSweeney welcomes aggressive brawl with Travis Browne

June 16, 2010 All MMA News, UFC  Comments

“Ultimate Fighter” season ten cast member, James McSweeney has been giving his thoughts on his season eleven finale showdown with octagon newcomer, Travis Browne this coming weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, explaining if he brings a wild and aggressive approach to this one like he normally does he’ll get punished severely.

Speaking via FightHype.com, McSweeney said:

“I don’t have any pressure at all. I put no pressure on myself. I’m just going to go out there and do my fight. I just want to go out there and put on a show for the crowd and put my skills out there…I know what it’s like to be on the big stage. I fought people like Michael MacDonald in K-1, which was a great victory for me and a great stand-up fight, but I never underestimate my opponent by any means.”

“He is very dangerous, he’s really wild and he is super aggressive. I think if he comes in wild and wants to be super aggressive with me, that’s going to play into my hands and I will capitalize on that. I would be very happy for him to come out and come after me with no respect. If he does that, he’s going to get punished severely for it.”

McSweeney hasn’t been seen inside the octagon since December when he defeated fellow season ten cast member, Darrill Schoonover on the season ten finale show. Stay tuned to MMABay for more build-up to this one as we get it.
